Be amongst the very first in Australia to taste Dog Point's eagerly sought-after 2009 vintage release. We'll also have the stunning 2010 sauvignon blanc open.
Dog Point owner/winemakers James Healy and Ivan Sutherland will be here to guide you through these benchmark Marlborough wines.
We'll be tasting:
Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2010
Dog Point Section 94 2009 (barrel fermented, wild yeast sauvignon)
Dog Point Chardonnay 2009
Dog Point Pinot Noir 2009
There will be a fixed price dinner here in our restaurant Oasi for anyone who'd like to stay after the tasting.
The menu will be:
Seared swordfish, heirloom tomatoes, radish, capers and a soft egg
or
Roast tomato and black truffle rissotto with pecorino, cress and aged balsamic
Both served with a salad to share of mixed leaves and walnut dressing.
For an extra $10 you'll also get chef's divine dessert of vanilla bean creme brulee with raspberry jelly and biscotti.
